Today I am extending a personal invitation to host your events at Barrett Junction Cafe. Choose from the patio where you can set up booths to feature your creations or indoors with a stage to set up your DJ or band.
The weather is turning to Spring time, more sunshine, less rain. It is a good time to begin planning your Spring events and reserve your space. Weddings, graduations, birthdays, anniversaries, swap meets, craft shows, charity events, poker runs, car and bike shows, the list is endless.
Luge runs happen on the Barrett School Road, Saturdays, bike runs (motored and not) take a turn out towards Campo, make a pit stop at the cafe.
Plenty of parking, seating, and space. Select a barbecue or fish fry, 7 days a week.
Spring Break is coming up soon, do you have a run planned? A tour of the back country of San Diego County, out Highway 94?
The roads are newly paved and painted. The construction continues at the Indian Reservation, with occasional stops as the semis move in and out. There is a 45 mile speed zone through this area, but it won’t slow you down enough to matter.
Time to reach Barrett Junction Cafe from El Cajon is approximately 25 to 30 minutes. Unless you cruise at or below the speed limit, enjoy the scenery and relax.
Bring your camera because the green is there, trees filled with leaves and the fields are filling with green. Some of the trees you will see have been there over 75 years.
Bike clubs, families, schools, businesses, non-profit organizations, we invite you to host your event at the cafe. Bring your own music, DJ’s or bands, there are stages open. Great acoustics inside and out.
The goal is to make the back country the place to be, especially the Barrett Junction Cafe & Mercantile. The Barrett Junction and Dulzura areas are rich with history. Not to mention the view is terrific.
