The Lopi stove company manufactures eight types of stoves, gas, wood & pellet stand alone & inserts, and gas and wood fireplaces. The gas, wood and pellet style stoves offer a few different styles to fit any décor. The insert stoves set back into the wall, with the stove pipe running up the chimney. The surrounding area looks like a fireplace, with or without the mantle.
The Lopi wood stove for sale is an Answer 95, manufactured 1989, is now discontinued. The manual can be found by clicking here. This is a pdf document with everything you need to know about this stove. This model will burn pellets or wood, the log measurement is 18 inches and can heat from 600 to 1200 square feet. It is EPA Phase II approved, and offers up to 8 hours of burn time. The stove is constructed of 3/16 & ¼ inch steel, without a pedestal or legs it is approximately 20 inches tall, 22 inches wide, and 16 to 20 inch depth. The Answer 95 weighs about 307 pounds.
With the way of rising electric costs, a wood burning stove may become the way of the future once again. This model could use a buffing and cleaning, the face is showing its age and use. However, the blackened steel will clean up nicely.
